The Massachusetts State Treasury’s Financial Education Department will be traveling to Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill to host a Caution With Credit event that is open to the public. This event will share online tools and information that are crucial to understanding responsible credit practices. The program warns of the pitfalls of credit card debt and its long lasting impact, as well as informs people about the basics of credit cards including interest, APR, and credit ratings. The focus will be proper credit card use, personal financial planning, and the impact of not using caution with credit.

Target Audience: This event is open to NECC students & the general public.
